Previously, the only way to have a Comp Lyfe product authenticated (and/or obtain a new Certificate of Authenticity) was to have a member of our staff see the item(s) in person.
We preferred you mail the item(s) to our Comp Lyfe warehouse (you paid to have the item(s) shipped- we paid to have the item(s) shipped back). We would also authenticate items in person at our warehouse and at trade shows.
In order to sell/trade a Comp Lyfe tube on our Facebook Buy Sell Trade page (Comp Lyfe Collectors Club) you must have the corresponding COA for that tube.
→ Effective 01-01-2024: We are now offering our authentication services via email- without shipping your device in. If you choose to use this service for authentication, please email the following photos/ information:
- (1) photo of the 510
- (1) photo of the side profile
- (1) photo of the bottom threads (housing removed)
Please note: we may request additional photos.
COA authentication services are $10 and this includes shipping (domestic only). We have offered this service for free since 2015, but we are now charging a $10 fee to cover the time of our staff and postage/materials. International fees vary, please email us for a more specific quote. Emailed photos that do not require us to ship a COA are still free.
Photos should be emailed to info@complyfe.com, please include your shipping address in this email as well. Once we have authenticated your device, you will receive an invoice for $10. Once the invoice has been paid, your COA will be shipped and you will receive tracking information via email.
Is it possible to avoid the $10 fee?
Absolutely. We can include COA(s) in any outstanding order. For example, place any order... avoid $10 fee.
